Advisement for the minor is available from the English Department.
The writing and rhetoric minor trains students to help shape writers’ ideas in academic, civic, professional and personal contexts. The comprehensive nature of the program prepares students for a wide range of writing-focused jobs that involve the analysis, creation and editing of texts, both digital and multimedia.

University Undergraduate Minor Policies
Salisbury University minors require:
- The completion of at least 18 credits with grades of C or better.
- At least 15 credits applied toward the minor must be coursework that is not used to satisfy General Education requirements.
- At least 9 credits must be earned at SU.
