Business Administration 4+1 Minor


Advisement for the minor is available from the Management  Department

The minor is designed for non-business administration majors seeking admission to the Perdue School M.B.A. program. Students who complete the minor within their baccalaureate programs and meet Business Administration, M.B.A.  program admission standards may obtain the Perdue School M.B.A. in as little as one calendar year of graduate study (i.e., 4+1 program). Completing the minor does not guarantee admission into the M.B.A. program. Admission is competitive based on the applicant pool each year. Students desiring to pursue the 4+1 program should consult with the director of the M.B.A. program as early as possible.

  • All minor courses must be completed with a C or better, including transfer credits.

  • No course may be taken pass/fail.

  • At least 9 credits of the minor must be earned at Salisbury University

  • At least 15 credits of the work applied toward the minor must consist of courses that are not used to satisfy General Education or Perdue School requirements.

  • The Perdue School does not allow course substitution; only those courses listed as fulfilling the minor are accepted.

  • Students must declare the minor with the director of Academic Services in the Perdue School.

  • This minor is not intended for accounting, business administration, finance, information systems, management and marketing majors.

  • The completion of at least 18 credits with grades of C or better.
  • At least 15 credits applied toward the minor must be coursework that is not used to satisfy General Education requirements.
  • At least 9 credits must be earned at SU.
