Articulate specific ways in which ethical reasoning takes place within religions, with an emphasis on major themes such as creation and the natural world, life and death, family structure, social obligations, and just punishment. Advance religious literacy in specific religious traditions while indicating points of consensus and disagreement between these traditions on major contemporary ethical debates.
