BIOL 107 - Trace Evidence and Microscopy 3 Hour(s) Credit A blended lecture and laboratory-based exploration of trace evidence as it relates to forensic science. Discuss the identification, collection and preservation of trace evidence from crime scenes. Explore a variety of methods for analysis and comparison of trace evidence, with particular emphasis on microscopy. Focus on the science used in solving crimes; please note, potentially sensitive matters such as violent crimes and death investigations are discussed. Does not satisfy requirements within the biology major. Four hours per week Meets General Education IVB
