Quantitative Analysis Minor

Advisement for the minor is available from the Mathematical Sciences Department.

The quantitative analysis minor is an interdisciplinary offering in response to workforce needs that seek college graduates with training in quantitative analysis. This minor is designed with the student’s program of study in mind by creating an accessible path to receiving a credential that indicates the student has experience working with statistics, mathematics and other quantitative methods. This minor packages courses in a manner that gives students an edge on the job market by developing sought after quantitative skills.  Additionally, students who complete the minor will have the ability to succeed in their future careers by utilizing the tools they learn by taking additional quantitative courses. The students the minor will benefit come from every program of study in the Perdue School of Business and the psychology, biology, chemistry and geography majors, as well as other majors across Salisbury University.

  • Mathematics, computer science and data science majors are not eligible to earn a quantitative analysis minor.
  • At least one course must be at the 300 level or higher.
