Media Production Minor

Advisement for the minor is available from the Communication Department.
The minor in media production is designed to give students majoring in any discipline foundational skills in media-making as a supplement to their primary career field. The program allows students to develop a deeper understanding of media and media production, giving them the skills needed to create content for a variety of media platforms.
- Students must complete at least 18 credit hours, including 4 core courses and 1 elective.
- All minor courses must be completed with a C or better.
- Students majoring in communication must complete a minor outside of the Communication Department. The media production minor does not satisfy that requirement for communication majors.

University Undergraduate Minor Policies
Salisbury University minors require:
- The completion of at least 18 credits with grades of C or better.
- At least 15 credits applied toward the minor must be coursework that is not used to satisfy General Education requirements.
- At least 9 credits must be earned at SU.
