Biology, B.S. Biotechnology Concentration Curriculum Guide (Suggested 4-Year Plan of Study)
- Complete the biology core and at least 32 additional credits in BIOL or ENVS (UMES) with an overall GPA of 2.0 or higher in the BIOL courses.
- At least 24 of these 44 credits must be at the 300-400 level.
- May receive credit within the major for up to 6 credits combined of BIOL 415 , BIOL 416 , BIOL 417 and BIOL 420 . A maximum of 3 credits of BIOL 420 may be used toward the major.
Health Professions Students
Pre-professional students select their courses according to the admission requirements of the professional schools in their areas of interest with the advice of the health professions advisors of the Health Professions Advising Program (HPAP). Transfer Students
Transfer students seeking the degree in biology must complete a minimum of 15 credit hours of courses in biology at Salisbury University.
