Business Administration Minor

Advisement for the minor is available from the Management Department
This program provides general exposure to business administration. It is intended to help prepare non-business majors for employment in business organizations or to gain entrance into M.B.A. programs.

This minor is for students not intending to pursue the Perdue School M.B.A. Students wishing to attend M.B.A. programs at other institutions should consult those schools’ entrance requirements to determine which electives to take. Students desiring to complete the prerequisite courses for the Perdue School Business Administration, M.B.A. program should pursue the Business Administration 4+1 Minor .

All minor courses must be completed with a C or better, including transfer credits.

No course may be taken pass/fail.

At least 9 credits of each minor must be earned at Salisbury University.

At least 15 credits of the work applied toward the minor must consist of courses that are not used to satisfy General Education or Perdue School requirements. Additionally, for economics majors, 15 credits must be credits not applied to the economics major.

The Perdue School does not allow course substitution; only those courses listed as fulfilling the minor are accepted.

The minor is not intended for accounting, business administration, finance, information systems, management and marketing majors.

University Undergraduate Minor Policies
Salisbury University minors require:
- The completion of at least 18 credits with grades of C or better.
- At least 15 credits applied toward the minor must be coursework that is not used to satisfy General Education requirements.
- At least 9 credits must be earned at SU.
Minor Requirements
* MATH 155, MATH 201, and either ECON 150 or ECON 211 may be used to satisfy General Education requirements.
