HIST 362 - Chinese Civilization 4 Hour(s) Credit Chinese civilization from its origins in the Bronze Age to the rise of nationalism and communism in the 20th century. Attention divided equally between political and cultural history, emphasizing the development of traditional institutions in Chinese society, as well as art, literature, religion and philosophy. Three hours per week with enhancement. Meets General Education IIB. Prerequisites Sophomore standing or permission of instructor.
