HIST 210 - Introduction to World Religions 4 Hour(s) Credit Introductory survey of the historical development of world religions. Specific examples drawn from such diverse cultural traditions as ancient Babylonian, Judeo-Christian, imperial Chinese and modern American religious movements. Fertility gods and spirits of nature, augury, omens, possession and prophecy are among the topics analyzed. Three hours per week with enhancement. Meets General Education IIB. Prerequisites Sophomore standing or permission of instructor.
