ENGL 380 - American Literature I: Beginnings to 1860 4 Hour(s) Credit Study of major American literature from the nation’s origins to 1860. Authors to be studied may include, but are not limited to, Edwards, Franklin, Hawthorne, Irving, Melville, Poe and Whitman. Three hours per week with enhancement. Meets General Education IB. Prerequisites C or better in ENGL 103 .
