ENGL 356 - British Literature I: Beginnings to 1660

Survey of British literature from the Beowulf poet to the Restoration. Readings may include, but are not limited to, The Canterbury Tales, Spenser, Marlowe and Milton.
Three hours per week with enhancement.
Meets General Education IB.
Prerequisites C or better in ENGL 103 .
