PHYS 317 - Astrophysics

Physical and mathematical principles applied to fundamental topics of astrophysics, including light and stellar spectra, stellar structure and evolution, binary stars and exoplanets, galactic and extragalactic astronomy, and cosmology. Some prior knowledge of astronomy is recommended, but not required.
Four hours lecture/activity per week.
