PHYS 313 - Introduction to Modern Physics

Survey of physics concepts developed since 1880. Topics include special relativity, photoelectric effect, wave-particle duality, quantization, uncertainty principle, and introductory atomic, nuclear and solid state physics.
Four hours lecture/ activity per week
