ART 107 - Creative Wellness: Art as a Path to Emotional, Financial and Physical Well-Being 4 Hour(s) Credit Explore the intersection of art and personal wellness, using 2D and 3D creative practices to enhance emotional, financial and physical well-being. Investigate how sculpture, installation art, painting, photography and mixed media can be used as tools for stress management, self-reflection, financial literacy and physical activity. Hands-on projects, reflective writing and discussions are integrated with research on art therapy, financial planning for creatives and movement-based art-making. Have the option to create 3D works such as ceramics, found-object sculptures, interactive installations or tactile-based sensory art to deepen understanding of wellness. Does not fulfill any requirements for art majors, art minors or art history minors. Six Meets General Education: Personal Wellness (PW)
