FYS HLTH01 - Dogs that Heal: Exploring Canine Public Health Heroes

Gain an overview of the various roles dogs play in assisting humans with specific needs. Gain an awareness of the public health field through exploration of service and therapy dogs. Develop skills that foster academic success, such as oral and written communication, effective reading, information literacy, critical thinking and reasoning, and intellectual curiosity through a variety of course assessments.
Three hours per wekk with enhancement
Meets General Education: First Year Seminar (FYS)
May Not Receive Credit for Both if a second FYS is taken. Taking a second FYS will replace the original FYS grade, regardless of topic.
