GEOG 125 - Human Impact on the Environment

The root causes of human impact on the environment and a range of practical solutions are investigated at global, national and local scales. The relationship between human use of natural resources and ecosystems and the consequences of environmental degradation are emphasized. Specific topics covered include biodiversity, energy, climate change, deforestation, air pollution and water resources.
Three hours per week plus enhancement.
