ENGL 378 - Literature of the African Diaspora 4 Hour(s) Credit A study of selections from the range of literature that comprises the sub-genre of the African Diaspora. Engages texts in an effort to better understand and interpret the complex nature of chattel slavery, emancipation, reconstruction, colonialism and post-colonialist motivations through reading, discussion and cultural immersion. Three hours per week with enhancement. Met General Education Prior to Fall 2024 IB Prerequisites C or better in ENGL 103
