EDCI 748 - Seminar in Scholarly Writing for Research and Professional Contexts

Designed to prepare doctoral students for the research and professional writing demands they will encounter as practitioner scholars. Addresses style and organization, scholarly genres, and modes of discourse used in the field of literacy. Also includes a focus on developing dispositions, skills and habits that support effective scholarly writing. Intensive writing, revision and response to other participants’ writing are expected.
