Business Analytics Minor


Advisement for the minor is available from the Information and Decision Sciences  Department

The business analytics minor is intended to prepare students for successful careers across a range of professions and industries that require data-driven decision making. Examples include marketing, finance, business management and health care. Students learn how to transform data into keen strategic insights, using various modern decision models and machine learning tools.

  • The business analytics minor is open to any student at SU, except information systems majors.
  • The minor requires 19 credit hours, any of which may be used to fulfill other degree requirements.

University Undergraduate Minor Policies


Salisbury University minors require:

  • The completion of at least 18 credits with grades of C or better.
  • At least 15 credits applied toward the minor must be coursework that is not used to satisfy General Education requirements.
  • At least 9 credits must be earned at SU.
