HIST 350 - The Middle East to 1800

Survey of the political, social and economical history of the Middle East from the rule of Islam to the 19th century. Emphasis on the rise and decline of the Arab Caliphates, Persia and the Ottomans.
Three hours per week with enhancement.
Meets General Education IIB.
Prerequisites Sophomore standing or permission of instructor.
