ENGL 377 - Introduction to African Literature 4 Hour(s) Credit A study of selections from the range of literature central to the sub-genre of the literature of the African Diaspora, texts written in English by African authors. Engages these texts in an effort to better understand this history and cultures of precolonial Africa, as well as the impacts of colonization and post/neo-colonization through reading and discussion. Three hours per week with enhancement. Meets General Education IB. Prerequisites C or better in ENGL 103 .
