ENGL 369 - Global Literature and Justice 4 Hour(s) Credit Introduction to the intersections between literature and justice. Explores how literature can represent and help achieve justice, and how literature can teach thinking globally. Considers a variety of topics, including, but not limited to, human rights, activism, economic rights, education rights, gender rights, group rights, social justice, race and globalization. Choice of writers is made by the instructor. These writers include, but are not limited to, those who have connection to the Global South: Asia, Africa and Latin America. Three hours per week with enhancement. Meets General Education IB. Prerequisites C or better in ENGL 103 .
