GEOG 141 - Current Issues in Earth Science 3 Hour(s) Credit Teaches non-science majors how to critically evaluate contemporary earth science topics of public interest as reported in the media. Learn about the science behind issues, such as terminology, processes, data analysis and underlying assumptions. Differing viewpoints and ethical considerations are discussed. Two hours lecture, two hours discussion per week. Meets General Education IVB.
