SCED 433 - Reflection and Inquiry in Teaching Practice 2 Hour(s) Credit Provides the intern with a place to discuss pertinent issues encountered during their internship. Endeavors to stress the importance of on-going learning and professional development. Guides development of materials and skills to reflect upon and showcase professional development, including through a professional portfolio for future employment and the completion and submission of the edTPA. Three hours per week for 10 weeks Meets General Education: Experiential Learning (EL) Prerequisites A major in one of the academic disciplines with an MSDE-approved program; competency tests or a 3.0 GPA; admission to Professional Teacher Education Program; EDFN 210 , SCED 300 , SCED 37X, SCED 47X, SCED 367 and SCED 438 . Minimum overall GPA of 2.5 and 90 college credits (including transfer credits). Corequisites SCED 426 , SCED 428 or ELED 430 , SCED 431 Major Prerequisites Cumulative major GPA of 2.75 in the major (including transfer courses); minimum GPA of 2.75 in education courses, with no grade below a C; completion of eight courses in the major field (spring semester only)
