Education Minor

|
Advisement for the minor is available from the Early and Elementary Education Department.
The minor gives students a background in education as a professional field and an opportunity to explore interests within their major/profession. Students develop knowledge and skills to work with young children in a variety of contexts dependent on student’s major and courses they select. For example, nursing majors acquire knowledge of working with young children in non-educational settings such as in a hospital.
Students choose from two concentrations: early childhood or elementary.
