Economics, B.A. Quantitative Economics Track Curriculum Guide (Suggested 4-Year Plan of Study)
The quantitative economics (QE) track focuses on the systematic study of mathematical and quantitative analysis of economic problems. In addition to traditional economic core and elective courses, students majoring in economics with QE track are required to take three upper-level mathematics courses, which can range from advanced statistics, data analysis, calculus, linear algebra, real analysis, etc. The QE track prepares students with highly demanded mathematical and data analysis skills. This track also provides a solid foundation for students to go on to graduate studies in economics and other fields.
