Curriculum
The College of Health and Human Services (CHHS) Honors Program offers a variety of enhanced courses to satisfy the interests of honors students in the College. Enhanced courses are available to students admitted to any CHHS program with at least a 3.5 GPA.

Grading Requirements for the Honors Program
All courses used to fulfill Honors Program requirements must be completed with a C or better; HONR 495 must be completed with a B or better. Honors courses cannot be taken pass/fail except where indicated.

This checklist is an unofficial tool for planning. Matriculated students and advisors should consult the Academic Requirements Report in GullNet before and after registering for classes each semester to track academic progress.

University Honors Curriculum
* May be used to fulfill a General Education requirement.
** Honors-designated sections are those courses that are offered exclusively to students in the Honors College. They are indicated by an H following the course number. An honors-designated CHHS major course or IHHS course is preferred, if available.
*** Honors-contracted courses are those in which the instructor of a non-Honors section of a course provides the student with graded enrichment assignments that are not included in the regular course. Students may take four credits maximum of Honors-contracted courses (typically, one course).
**** Honors-designated activities include, but are not limited to, participation in a pre-approved study abroad experience or pre-approved internship above and beyond those required by the School of Health Science or the School of Social Work. Honors-designated activities must be approved by the College of Health and Human Services Honors Program faculty director and the dean of the Honors College.
General Education Requirements Fulfilled by the College of Health and Human Services
Depending on your course choices, you may be able to use honors requirements to fulfill general education requirements. Please discuss with your advisor. Complete the Following (10-11 credits):
CHHS majors courses may be Honors-designated sections or Honors-contracted courses. Student must choose the major course that coincides with their discipline. Complete At Least 2 Honors Electives (7-8 credits):
