Asian Studies Minor

The Asian studies minor is an interdisciplinary minor allowing students to study topics related the continent from a variety of perspectives.

  • Complete a minimum of 5 courses (at least 18 credits), with grades of C or better, from the checklist.
  • Complete at least 1 course from the Arts/Humanities Section and at least 1 course from the Social Sciences Section. The remaining 3 courses may be taken from any section, including the Survey Courses Section.
  • Complete courses from at least 3 different subject areas.
  • At least 9 credits must be earned at SU. Credits taken at one of SU’s international partner institutions count as SU courses.

University Undergraduate Minor Policies


Salisbury University minors require:

  • The completion of at least 18 credits with grades of C or better.
  • At least 15 credits applied toward the minor must be coursework that is not used to satisfy General Education requirements.
  • At least 9 credits must be earned at SU.
