Health Science Minor

Advisement for the minor is available from the Health Sciences  School. 

The health science minor is designed for students from a variety of disciplines who wish to further their knowledge in the area of health care. Through required and elective courses, students gain awareness of the variety of careers in the health sciences, are introduced to clinical and soft skills, and explore specific areas of interest, including pathology, nutrition, pharmacology and the health care system. 

Health science majors are not eligible to earn a health science minor.

University Undergraduate Minor Policies


Salisbury University minors require:

  • The completion of at least 18 credits with grades of C or better.
  • At least 15 credits applied toward the minor must be coursework that is not used to satisfy General Education requirements.
  • At least 9 credits must be earned at SU.
