Advisement for the minor is available from the English Department.
Students must complete 4 courses in the department beyond the courses used to fulfill General Education requirements (ENGL 103 with a C or better and the General Education literature course).
At least 3 of the courses beyond ENGL 103 used for the minor must be taken at SU.
A minimum of 3 courses must be taken at the 300/400 level.
A grade of C or better is required in courses for the minor.
Students may not use courses to satisfy requirements in multiple English minors and/or major programs of study.
This checklist is an unofficial tool for planning. Matriculated students and advisors should consult the Academic Requirements Report in GullNet before and after registering for classes each semester to track academic progress.
