PSYC 415 - Community and Applied Social Psychology 4 Hour(s) Credit Provides an overview of ecological perspectives on causes and treatment of psychological and social problems, with a focus on prevention, empowerment and understanding “person in context.” Topics covered include community diversity, coping, prevention, community action and community organizing, processes of social change, and community empowerment. Three hours per week with enhancement. Prerequisites PSYC 101 .
