MATH 510 - Mathematical Reasoning 3 Hour(s) Credit Designed for middle-school mathematics teachers and others who want to enhance their capabilities in mathematical reasoning. Selected topics from discrete mathematics, including sets, logic and proof, relations, graphs, recursion and combinatorics, with a special focus on constructing and presenting well-organized arguments and justifications of mathematical statements. Graduate credit only. Three hours per week. Prerequisites Graduate standing.
