CADR 245 - Social Media and Conflict 4 Hour(s) Credit Critically analyze the relationship between digital platforms and societal structures, examining how social media influences behavior, interactions, and power dynamics, which can lead to both cooperation and conflict globally. Interpret evidence of human thought and experience in online conflict, analyzing how social media affects social, political, and cultural systems, from spreading misinformation to peacebuilding. Through examining diverse case studies, enhance critical thinking skills, evaluate information, and form informed conclusions about the impact of social media. Gain global awareness, respect for diversity, and empowerment to address urgent global issues, aligning with Salisbury University’s mission to prepare active citizens.
