ART 327 - What If? Design for Social Good 4 Hour(s) Credit What if your ideas could make a real difference in people’s lives? In this hands-on course, work individually and in teams to explore challenges and develop creative, human-centered solutions. Through classroom discussions, workshops, and community research, learn design thinking methods, empathy-driven research, brainstorming, prototyping, and testing ideas with meaningful feedback. Some days, you’ll be in class learning creative problem-solving techniques, conducting research and developing ideas; other days, you’ll be in the community, gathering insights, testing prototypes, and refining designs. Work will be shaped by collaborative dialogue, thoughtful research, and creative problem-solving. By semester’s end, you won’t just ask “What if?” - you’ll be designing the answers.
