ART 455 - Documentary Storytelling 4 Hour(s) Credit Learn about, be inspired by, and create social documentary projects with an emphasis on storytelling. Subjects may include, but are not limited to, ageism, domestic violence, homelessness, gender, community, and global concerns. Understand the fundamentals of documentary practice through research and exploration into specific projects and creators working historically and contemporarily in the social documentary field. Through civic and community engagement, pursue your own observational and investigative documentary photographic and textual essays with community partnerships. Demonstrate skills though class and location assignments, discussions, and experientials. Six hours per week Meets General Education: Civic and Community Engagement (CCE) Prerequisites ART 129 or ART 229 Major Prerequisites ART 121 , ART 130 , ART 129 or ART 229 , ART 202 or ART 203
