The first of a two-course sequence of supervised field practicum experience in a social welfare agency with emphasis on methods and techniques of generalist social work practice. Apply theory and develop skills in the delivery of social services. Successful completion of the two-course sequence requires a minimum of 400 hours within the same social welfare agency accumulated across the two semesters.
