HIST 343 - History of Modern South Asia 4 Hour(s) Credit Study of political, social, and cultural history of South Asia c.19th century to the present. Emphasis on the period of colonial British rule, growth of Indian nationalism, and the emergence of independent nations India and Pakistan. Focused on modern circumstances.
