GEOG 535 - GIS Programming

Theory and application of computer programming solutions in geography. Focuses on geospatial data processing, modeling, and visualization. Through hands-on programming exercises and real-world case studies, learn to manipulate spatial data structures, perform spatial queries, conduct raster and vector analysis, automate workflows, and perform advanced geovisualization.
Three hours per week.
Prerequisites Graduate standing and permission of department chair.
