EXSC 462 - Clinical Exercise Physiology

In-depth study of changes that occur due to acute and chronic exercise and the influence of aging on these processes. Examination of physiologic differences among individuals with various medical conditions. Behavioral modification counseling skills for various populations are developed. Strong emphasis is placed on improving health advocacy, literacy and equity, ensuring all individuals have access to the knowledge and resources necessary to make informed health decisions and engage in healthy behaviors.
