CHEM 111 - Big Ideas in Chemistry

Non-laboratory course focusing on key developments in chemistry. While learning basic chemical principles, analyze the historical context of these developments, what motivated the scientists to pursue their discoveries and the influence of each scientist’s personal history. In addition, the cultural, scientific and environmental effect of these developments are examined.
