Explore the structure, function, development, and pathology of the vascular system. Emphasis is placed on endothelial biology, smooth muscle cell function, vascular signaling pathways, mechanotransduction, inflammation, angiogenesis, and vascular diseases, including atherosclerosis, thrombosis, hypertension, and tumor angiogenesis. Primary literature analysis and translational perspectives are integrated throughout.
