FSCS 307 - Trace Evidence and Microscopy 3 Hour(s) Credit A blended lecture and laboratory-based exploration of trace evidence as it relates to forensic science. Discuss the identification, collection and preservation of trace evidence from crime scenes. Explore a variety of methods for analysis and comparison of trace evidence, with particular emphasis on microscopy. Focus on the science used in solving crimes; please note, potentially sensitive matters such as violent crimes and death investigations are discussed. Does not satisfy requirements within the biology major. Four hours lecture/laboratory Meets General Education: Solutions Through Science (STS) Prerequisites BIOL 106 or CMJ 105 May Not Receive Credit for Both FSCS 307 and BIOL 107
