This five-week, 45-hour internship provides hands-on experience in a public school’s Extended School Year (ESY) Program for students with disabilities. Designed to equip future teachers with practical skills and knowledge, the internship involves classroom observation, assisting with instruction, implementing individualized teaching strategies, and collaborating with educators and families. Engage in weekly reflection and participate in interdisciplinary teamwork, all under the supervision of an experienced mentor teacher. This immersive experience aims to prepare students for supporting diverse learners in inclusive educational environments.
