HIST 110 - America’s Wars in the 20th Century 4 Hour(s) Credit Investigates the origins, development and impact of United States participation in wars during the 20th century - specifically World Wars I and II, Korea, Vietnam, and the Gulf War (1990-91). Explores the influence these conflicts had on the United States and the countries involved. Focuses on political, economic, social, cultural and military trends; representative events and people; and related topics such as imperialism, the Holocaust and the U.S.’s expanding global reach. Three hours per week with enhancement. Meets General Education: Humanity in Context (HIC)
