PHYS 322 - Digital Electronics 4 Hour(s) Credit Study of the basic concepts of digital electronics, with emphasis on modern TTL and CMOS integrated circuits. Topics include logic gates, Boolean algebra, Karnaugh maps, combinational and sequential logic circuits, flip-flops, counters, shift registers, multiplexers, decoders, and an introduction to VHDL. In the hands-on laboratory, design, build and test digital circuits on a breadboard. Three hours lecture, three hours laboratory per week Prerequisites PHYS 223 May Not Receive Credit for Both Credit may not be received for both PHYS 322 and COSC 250 .
