PHYS 311 - Electrical Circuits and Electronics 4 Hour(s) Credit Introduction to linear lumped-element electrical circuit analysis. Topics include Kirchhoff’s laws, nodal and mesh analysis methods, Thevenin’s and Norton’s theorems, operational amplifiers, first- and second-order circuits, transient analysis, and sinusoidal steady-state analysis. The laboratory provides hands-on practice with constructing circuits as well as experience using circuit simulation software.
