Explores Native American history before contact with Europeans, through upheavals and adaptations brought by European colonial powers, struggles with the emerging new American nation, forced reservations and Indian activis, m, to current status of tribal members. Examines the political, economic, social and cultural aspects of Indigenous Americans, past and present.
