ART 226 - Graphic Design I 4 Hour(s) Credit Introduction to the fundamentals of graphic design as a powerful visual communication tool. Through hands-on projects and critical analysis, explore the design process, learning how to effectively combine typography and imagery to create compelling, meaningful designs. Emphasis is placed on design principles, composition and problem-solving strategies to communicate messages to diverse audiences. Gain proficiency in industry-standard software while developing an understanding of the history of graphic design and its evolving role in culture and commerce.
