SOWK 417 - Application of Research-Informed Social Work Practice

A key ethical consideration for social workers is the ability to evaluate their practice. Understand the social work and research connection by exploring the steps of evidence-based practice. Drawing upon current research literature and social work practice knowledge, practice client assessment, formulate intervention plans and develop measures to assess treatment outcomes. Learn how to analyze, interpret, and present quantitative and qualitative findings to help inform practice decisions.
Four hours per week
Prerequisites Admission to the professional program, SOWK 416
